MIX 2 cups of softened butter with 1 cup fine sugar* then stir in 4 cups flour.
STIR in 2 tsp of grated orange rind.
FORM dough into small balls and place on an ungreased parchment or foil-lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool.
MAKE a thick syrupy sauce from icing sugar and orange juice to decorate cookies with. Dip cookies in and let dry on a wire rack.
