PREHEAT oven to 375°F. Arrange peach halves, cut side down, in shallow 8-inch baking dish. Whisk together reserved peach juice, lemon juice, cornstarch and ginger until smooth and no lumps remain. Pour over peaches.
MIX sugar, flour and baking powder in medium bowl. Cut in cream cheese spread with pastry blender or 2 forks until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk until well blended. Spoon topping mixture over peaches.
BAKE 30 min. or until topping is browned and fruit juices bubble around it. Serve warm.
