What You Need

1 lb. (450 g) extra-lean ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

1/4 cup Kraft Golden Italian Dressing

1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) diced tomatoes, undrained

1 can (19 fl oz/540 mL) kidney beans, rinsed

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. chili powder

3/4 cup Kraft Tex Mex Shredded Cheese

Make It

COOK meat, onions and peppers in dressing in large saucepan on medium heat 8 min. or until meat is done and vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.

STIR in next 4 ingredients. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.

SERVE topped with cheese.

Make Ahead

Prepare as directed. Cool, then refrigerate until ready to reheat just before serving. Or, freeze in airtight container up to 3 months. Thaw in refrigerator before reheating to serve.

This was absolutely delicious and easy to make! My mom had always made great chili but, this will be my go to recipe from now on. I fried mushrooms and added them to the chili and it was a wonderful addition.

So easy and so good! I had always considered chili something that had to cook all day or took forever to make. This recipe is really great because it gives you a good, solid base to experiment with. We made it last night and threw in about 10 other spices that aren't in the recipe but made it delicious! We also used frozen pepper strips, garlic and the secret ingredient: ketchup. The ketchup really brought it all together. I just wish we had had some cheese...

Quick, easy and delicious. Some reviewers have stated that this is not spicy enough..but it was perfect for those of us that don't care for spicy!! I served this over rice, added a layer of corn and topped with cheddar cheese!! YUMMY!!

I grew up with a family where chili's and stews were staple, and, I can say honestly, that this was one of the best chili's I ever tasted.

loved this chilli recipe, it tastes even better the next day! i put a scoop of sour cream on top along with the cheese. Sooo good. my whole family loves it and it freezes excellent.
