What You Need

1 pkg. (120 g) Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken

1 cup water

4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb./450 g), about 1/2 inch thick

40 g sliced smoked ham, cut in half

1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms

1 cup frozen peas

1/4 cup Kraft Sun-Dried Tomato & Oregano Dressing

Make It

HEAT oven to 400°F.

MIX stuffing mix and water; spoon onto 4 large sheets heavy-duty foil. Top with remaining ingredients.

BRING up foil sides. Double fold top and ends to seal each packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside. Place packets in 15x10x3/4-inch pan.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until chicken is done (170°F). Remove packets from oven; let stand 5 min. Cut slits in foil with knife to release steam before opening.

Cooking Know-How

If the chicken breast halves in your market are larger than 4 oz./115 g, they will take longer to cook. Be sure to cook them long enough so that they are no longer pink in the centres and the juices run clear.

Neither my husband or I were crazy about this one -- the stuffing was soggy and the overall taste wasn't that great. I'd give it a 1.5/5.

I made this recipe with butter in the stuffing and it was quite wet. Won't do that next time. Nice and tasty though. Great idea for camping!

I haven't made this one yet, but I've done a lot of the foil packet recipes. Put the mushrooms down first, then mix the peas in with the stuffing. Should help with the sticking problem.

I omitted the ham but stuck to the recipe otherwise. My family loved it and did not suggest any other changes. Very easy to make.

The stuffing was soggy.I think it might be because I added a little extra dressing.Not one of my favorite recipes.

IDEA!! Problem = Stuffing stuck to the foil even with spray on it. Solution = What if you placed meal in/on wax paper then wax paper in foil to heat/cook? Do you think this would work?
