Fresh Tomato-Basil Pasta recipe

What You Need

3 cups rotini pasta, uncooked
2 Tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup (1/2 of 250-g tub) Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese Spread
3 tomatoes, chopped (about 3 cups)
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
2 Tbsp. Kraft 100% Parmesan Light Grated Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta in large skillet as directed on package, omitting salt. Drain in colander; set aside.

HEAT oil in same skillet on medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir 2 min. Add pasta and cream cheese product; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until cream cheese is melted and pasta is heated through. Stir in tomatoes; cook and stir 2 min. or until heated through.

REMOVE from heat. Add basil; mix lightly. Sprinkle with Parmesan.

Cooking Know-How
To prevent the pasta sauce from becoming diluted, thoroughly drain the cooked pasta before tossing it with the sauce.
Special Extra
Add 1/3 cup Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits to pasta mixture with the tomatoes.
Serving Suggestion
Serve with a crisp salad tossed with your favourite Kraft Dressing.
