What You Need

2-1/2 lb. (1.2 kg) potatoes, peeled, quartered
3 cloves garlic
1 tub (250 g) Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese Spread
1 tsp. salt

Make It

COOK potatoes and garlic in boiling water in large covered saucepan 15 to 20 min. or until potatoes are tender; drain. Return to saucepan.

ADD remaining ingredients; mash with potato masher or ricer until smooth.

Substitute
For added colour and texture, prepare with unpeeled red-skinned new potatoes.
Serving Suggestion
Add contrast to the potatoes by serving them with a crisp mixed green salad or vegetable and a serving of cooked lean fish, meat or poultry.

For best results, use Yukon Gold, russet or red potatoes since they work best for mashing.
