1 Tbsp. oil
1   beef sirloin steak (1 lb.), cut into strips
1 medium onion, sliced
2 Tbsp.  chopped fresh gingerroot or 2 tsp. dried ground ginger
1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) condensed beef broth
2 cups  broccoli florets
1 cup shredded carrots
2   oranges, peeled, sectioned, seeds removed
1-1/2 cups instant white rice, uncooked

COOK and stir beef in oil, in large non-stick frying pan, on high heat for 2 minutes. Stir in onion and ginger; cook and stir an additional minute.

ADD beef broth; bring to a boil.

STIR in broccoli, carrots, oranges and rice; cover. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir and serve.
