What You Need

1 cup flour

1 cup honey-flavored multi-grain cereal flakes with oat clusters

1/2 cup sugar

1 Tbsp. Magic Baking Powder

1 cup Kraft Light Smooth Peanut Butter

1 cup 1% milk

1 egg

1/4 cup dried cranberries

1/4 cup raisins

1/4 cup chopped peeled apple

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix flour, cereal, sugar and baking powder in large bowl; set aside. Beat peanut butter, milk and egg in small bowl until well blended. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. Stir in cranberries, raisins and apple just until moistened.

SPOON evenly into 12 medium muffin cups.

BAKE 20 min. or until golden brown. Cool.

Substitute

Try alternate add-ins like chopped peeled pears, frozen berries, mashed bananas, drained pineapple tidbits in juice, dried dates or dried apricots.

Like other users, I substituted oatmeal for the cereal and it came out very well. I added a bit of extra fruit - a total of 1 cup chopped peeled pear, 1/2 cup mashed banana and 1/2 cup raisins and no cranberries (because I didn't have any). They came out very moist and delicious - I love the hint of the peanut butter taste!

I liked this recipe.Very easy to make, and everyone liked it. However, I reduced the amount of sugar because of the add-ins that were already sweetened.

Just baked a batch of these muffins and I'll soon have to make more. I didn't have the called-for cereal on hand so I used plain rolled oats. Moist and chock full of flavour. A definite hit! Thank you Kraft.

These are fabulous! I'm at the cottage and don't have a muffin tin so I threw it in a cake pan and add everything that I have to it (raisins, bananas, apples, dates, etc.). I call it "Breakfast Cake" and my 3 year old gobbles it up!
