This is very good, light and refreshing. I have also played around with the flavor combinations, like putting cheesecake pudding and strawberry sorbet together. Something my husband loves for me to make in the summer.

I made the original recipe and it received rave reviews so I decided to switch it up several times since, I have made it with peach sorbet, fresh peaches and the vanilla bottom, chocolate sorbet with chocolate pudding instead of the vanilla pudding and drizzled a small amount of chocolate syrup on it...each time getting rave reviews! This is a very versatile recipe if you let your imagination take over!

05/22/2012

Very easy to make and absolutley delicious!

11/16/2010

This was outstanding! I doubled the sorbet and it was a great ratio of sorbet to pudding mix. I will defiantly make this again.

11/03/2010

The white part of the dessert was very hard & difficult to cut into. Next time I might not freeze them together.

09/17/2010

So delicious! However, I used sherbet and I think I softened it a little too much because it was difficult to freeze afterward.

08/11/2010

I left out of last comment. I used Lime sorbet. Next time I am going put into a gram cracker crust.

07/22/2010

Making this for the 3rd time this summer. Love it! AND it's Gluten Free!

07/20/2010

07/13/2010

From the prior review I was worried the recipe would be a total wreak, but I decided to give it a try anyway. It turned out beautiful and it was so easy to make. A great hit!

07/05/2010

Made this and it fell apart and was mushy. I followed the recipe exactly. Not sure where I went wrong. It was so bad I throw it out.

06/30/2010

This is an absolutely amazing dessert! I absolutely hate CoolWhip, but this mixture is great! I used Strawberry Sorbet instead of raspberry. Hagen-Daz has a wide variety of flavors to try. I also mashed fresh strawberries with a little sugar for the topping. Super easy, great for BBQ's and summer parties! I wonder if it would work as a popcicle in a cup on a stick? Maybe I will try that next!

06/09/2010

This is just THE BEST dessert especially for summer, but for all year round too!! Very easy to make! I've made the raspberry, an orange and a lemon, fat/sugar free and 'regular'. Everyone BEGGED me for the recipe! Truly a wonderful dessert!!

06/03/2010

05/27/2010

i made this recipe a few minutes ago, the pudding mixture with the milk and cool whip was not smooth and creamy as shown in the video ,i whisked the pudding with milk and it became very thick then added in the coolwhip and it still didnt come out creamy i will try this recipe again but i dont think i will whisk for two minutes like sugested and add more coolwhip instead of one cup and more milk.

05/23/2010

I made this dish last Easter and it was a huge hit. Finally found it again so I will be making it tomorrow for Mother's Day. I'm going to try White Chocolate pudding so we will see how that goes

05/08/2010

Eating plain fresh raspberries is a more pleasant experience. The raspberry sorbet plus vanilla pudding was too sweet and didn't blend well with the fresh raspberries. I would prefer this with just the vanilla pudding mixed with cool whip and/or fat free vanilla yogurt. No sorbet needed. It did look very nice on the plate and that was what attracted me to try it in the first place. My family wasn't crazy about this one either. THank you for the good idea though.

05/06/2010

Great spring dish. I'm making it again for Easter.

04/03/2010

This was a big hit for the Valentines, had no left overs!! I think if we could spray with non stick spray the dessert could look more clean when we take it out, however neatly you try to insert the aluminium foil it does crumple and leaves those marks to the dessert.Hopefully Kraft kitchens can answer me if the above solution is ok to try cause I do not want to mess it.

02/15/2010

I used sugar free lemon instant pudding instead of the vanilla, makes for a nice, tart contrast. I drizzled a little raspberry jam over the sorbet before adding the pudding layer. I also drizzled more jam on the pudding layer and used a knife to swirl the jam into the pudding. Makes it look really pretty. I served with fresh raspberries and a little more jam drizzled on top. Yum!

12/30/2009

excellent, actually followed the directions completely.Very good and froze the leftovers and they were excellent also.

11/12/2009

10/15/2009

Unfortunately for this recipe we had already tried the oreo fudge ice cream cake and now all others seem inferior!!! However, this cake was very light and summery - it is for the sophisticated pallet. My spouse and I loved it, but my son (12) was disappointed and wanted chocolate - go figure. Next time, however, I may add raspberries to the cream as well as before serving as the fresh tart raspberries added a little zing.

09/02/2009

This is a fantastic summer dessert for anyone, anytime. You can serve it for a large gathering or just the two of you, because it keeps well in the freezer. Everyone loves it and they all ask for the recipe at the end of the evening!

08/31/2009

I made this for a summertime baby shower for a baby girl, & it was a big hit. The recipe was very easy, & everyone loved it. I will definitely make it again.

08/26/2009

It's amazing!

08/26/2009

THE FIRST TIME WASN'T TO FIRM,BUT MY HUSBAND LOVED IT. I MADE IT AGAIN AND IT TURNED OUT GOOD. IT IS EASY AND GOOD. WE HAD FRIENDS OVER AND THEY WANTED THE RECIPE. I WAS READING OTHER RATINGS AND I THINK I WILL TRY OTHER PUDDINGS. THANKS.......

08/21/2009

not very good - I had high hopes but it didnt deliver in my book

08/20/2009

08/17/2009

I would freeze sherbert at least an hour or longer before adding the vanilla pudding

08/16/2009

This is a very easy and delicious desert! The vanilla topping tastes like ice cream.I will make the only the vanilla topping again to be used as ice cream and also try different flavors.

08/05/2009

I just made this last night and O MAN! Yummy I recommend cheese cake pudding instead

08/05/2009

Served to my card club. Loved it. I substituted White chocolate pudding for the vanilla. Tasted like chocolate covered raspberries.

08/04/2009

07/29/2009

The Ladies Loved~! Light ! Very refreshing! Most important was that it was so easy. The girls want the recipe. Thank-You

07/28/2009

07/27/2009

Very nice!

07/22/2009

I made this recipe for a birthday cake, but instead of putting it in a loaf pan I put it in a 8" round pan. I then made a angle food cake in a fluted bundt pan. When I was ready to serve, I sliced the angle food cake and placed it on the cake plate in a circle and then placed the frozen dessert on top. I then garnished with the raspberries. It looked like a flower. It tasted delicious and looked pretty. My family loved it.

07/08/2009

i had a hard time finding the jello mix at the store and it was very hard to mix into the batter. i like the diversity of mixing flavors. i tried again with orange sherbert and vanilla jello. tasted just like a 50/50 bar!

07/06/2009

This recipe was very refreshing for summer. A hint for making it look a little more professional: after removing it from the mold, run a butter knife under warm water and spread over the creases from the foil for a smoother appearance!

07/02/2009

I made this with raspberry sherbert as listed in the suggestions. The sherbert melted before we could even get a spoon into the cool whip/pudding mixture. This had a good flavor, but maybe the sorbet/sherbert could be frozen and the coolwhip/pudding mixture spooned on top?

06/26/2009

The look was awesome for my Mother's Day Brunch. This was very yummy except I felt it had to much pudding/cool whip. Next time I'll double the sorbet and half up the pudding/cool whip combo.

06/24/2009

I made this around the holidays and my sister wanted onefor her bday i think it would be best served in the summer time but instead of reasberrys i used strawberries

06/24/2009

Sorbet and cool whip mixture didn't come to the same consistency. Sorbet melted before we could eat the cool whip/pudding mixture. Next time will freeze the cool whip mixture, defrost to the correct consistency, then put a scoop of sorbet on top before serving.

06/24/2009

This was great. Even my picky eater kids loved this dessert. My husband didn't even know it was healthy and low fat either!

06/22/2009

Super easy and healthy too! My coworkers thought it was delicious!

05/29/2009

I made this for a family gathering it did not last long, and so easy to make. i will be making this for many years.

05/16/2009

This recipe looks fancier, so it's good for company. Does anyone know why the message boards on here don't work?? There seem to barely be any messages that are current, and it's been that way for a long time. I mention it here in fact, because the customer service link does no good either.

05/08/2009

Great light dessert for the summer. I even made it on vacation.

04/14/2009

Wonderful! I will make this again :)

12/23/2008

11/17/2008

Very, very yummy.

10/05/2008

This was quick and simple. It is the perfect treat that is sweet, but not over powering with the sweetness.

09/24/2008

I love this recipe and already made it twice in the last two weeks. My husband and daughter devour it and save it for a special treat every evening. Next time I will try it with choc pudding and strawberry sorbet. Thanks for a great summer treat that is low on calories!

08/26/2008

It did not set for me as the instructions said. I'm not sure what I did that it did not set. It was the sorbet that did not set. I probably will not try this again.

08/23/2008

I made this recipe with my own variation using starwberry low fat ice cream instead of sorbet or sherbert. and it was good! Next time I plan on making them in papercups and putting pop sticks in them so they are like a pudding pop!

08/17/2008

This recipe was GREAT!!! I've never tried sorbet this was my first. My 11 year old loved it better than her usually sweet ice cream. And this is fat free.

08/06/2008

Delicious!!! and very easy to make. We love it! I will make this desert with diferent fruits to try.

07/31/2008

Delicious and quick and easy to make. I may have made serving difficult by freezing it overnight - the pudding layer was difficult to cut through in serving and eating.

07/31/2008

I rated this fair simply because it was good, but tasted like raspberry sorbet with Cool-whip on top. Wasn't worth the hassle.

07/27/2008

We substituted Lemon pudding for the Vanilla, it was great! It was also such a pretty color of pink and light yellow. My 11 year old was able to make this by himself, it was so fast and easy.

07/24/2008

Very easy and very yummy!

07/23/2008

We loved it!!! As with others, the sorbet melted at a different, however when we let it freeze a bit longer, we were pleased with the result. Best to allow at least 4-5 hours for freezing. Will next try different pudding/sorbet variations.

07/22/2008

I was alittle disappointed. I felt like the white part of it tasted to much like cool whip1

07/20/2008

07/16/2008

I had to use a different flavor of sherbet because I did not find the raspberry. It was still a very good light and healthy desert.

07/12/2008

07/11/2008

Very good, and easy to make. It was a delicious, summertime, light recipe. It was a hit at a family birthday party. I'll definately make this again!

07/05/2008

This was great. Just as it said, very light and very yummy. My kids and Hubby all liked it and want to have it again. It is great to serve to company.

07/01/2008

Talk about a spectacular presentation!

07/01/2008

this is so delicious and easy to make and it is healthy and doesnt feel heavy afterwards, the presentation of it also is very nice with the fresh rasberries on top!the combo of ras/van go get 2gether!

06/26/2008

Just printed it. Plan to make it for tomorrow's dessert.

06/24/2008

The recipe was so simple and delicious. My husband and I recently returned from vacation and after visitng three countries we really wanted something light and simple to top off dinner. It was GREAT...I used fresh and frozen raspberries. I am going make it again for July 4th.

06/22/2008

i have yet to make this desert but i plan to make it soon.

06/21/2008

Great recipe! But I mixed it up a bit.. I cubed up a pund cake and layered it on top of the sorbet with some fresh raspberries then added the other layer... YUMMMMMMMMMMM!

06/05/2008

My family LOVED this dessert. I did make a few changes though. I used about 3 cups raspberry frozen yogurt in the bottom of a 9" spring form pan that I lined with plastics wrap. I then placed a thick layer of frozen raspberries on top. Then I added the whipped mixture. I then finely chopped about 8 oreo cooking and pressed them into the top before I froze the dessert. Everyone went back for seconds

06/03/2008

05/27/2008

What a nice light, refreshing dessert! A big hit with my family.

05/14/2008

04/20/2008

This is a great summer treat. My boyfriend, his 3yr old and I all loved it. Although the whip cream/pudding mixture is hard to cut once frozen, it's a great treat that goes a long way. You'd never guess it was healthy.

04/19/2008

I liked this recipe and so did my family. We are all trying to watch our calories so when I offered to do dessert for Easter I promised something healthy for everyone. The one thing to keep in mind is the the sorbet does melt extremely fast so I would not suggest setting it out 15 minutes pior to serving. Just use a hot knife if you are having trouble slicing through.

03/24/2008

this recipe was a huge hit for summer picnics!! I had to make several copies of the recipe for family and friends. For the 4th of July, I doubled the portions and put a thin layer fo cool whip on top and made a flag out of raspberries and blueberries. Everyone loved it!!

02/13/2008

I made this during the summer. It is super easy and delicious. Everyone at work loved it.

12/22/2007

This is unbelievably delicious!

12/03/2007

Yummy, lite summer dessert

11/12/2007

09/16/2007

This recipe is great, delicious and very refreshing my family loved it !!!

09/02/2007

I MADE THIS, BUT I CHANGED THE PUDDING TO CHESSECAKE, IT GAVE IT A GREAT TASTE, EVERYONE LOVED IT.... ALSO RIGHT BEFORE I WAS TO TAKE IT OUT, I PUT THE FRESH RASPBERRIES ON IT AND LEFT IN FREEZER TILL WE WAS READY TO SIT IT OUT, IT MADE IT TAKE GREAT, EVERYONE TOOK THIS RECIPE HOME WITH THEM TO MAKE SAME WAY...I DO THIS A LOT WITH RECIPES TRY DIFFERENT KINDS OF PUDDING OR WAYS..

08/28/2007

For low-carbers, use sugar-free raspberry sorbet, 1 pt. whipping cream (for the Cool Whip), and a package of sugar-free instant pudding.

08/13/2007

Very easy nice summer treat, no oven to turn on, I really loved this recipe.

08/13/2007

Very tasty and simple to make! :) Crowd pleaser!

08/13/2007

08/10/2007

I loved this recipe! Other ratings said that it didn't stay together very well, but I refridgerated it over night and had no problems at all, just a tasty elegant, dessert!

08/08/2007

Although I loved the sound of this recipe, some recipes just don't work out as they look in the picture. It fell apart easily, although it tasted good so I will give it 3 out of 5 stars for effort.

08/02/2007

i enjoyed the thought that it was low calorie and easy to make i was very disapointed to find that this recipe was just plain bad and overrated

08/01/2007

While this recipe was simple to make, when it thawed out, the top part was melting and the vanilla part was still frozen...you had to eat it seperately.

07/31/2007

This is great, try it once and you will be hooked!!!!

07/22/2007

FABULOUS!!!!

07/13/2005

I put blue berries on top for a patriotic theme :)

06/26/2007

Wonderful. I made this for a sisterhood event at my church and everyone loved it. It was very easy to make. I will definitely make this again.

06/11/2007

Amazing. I made this for a Memorial Day cookout. Everyone commented on how "gourmet" it looked and tasted. I loved knowing how healthy it actually was. I can't wait to try it with different pudding and fruit sorbet flavors. It literally only took me minutes to make. Yum!

05/29/2007

Everyone loved this at my Memorial Day cookout and was hoping that I had made an extra one. Very light and refreshing and YUMMY! Will make two of them next time.

05/29/2007

I have made this several times, using diffetent flavors. Everything from fruity & refreshing, to chocolatey & rich, everytime it has been a hit. Hey, it all boils down to presentation, so nobody ever has to know how A) easy it is, B) low fat it can be.

05/10/2007

this was AWESOME! looks much harder to make than it is

04/25/2007

03/30/2007

This is excellent for being so low fat. Definitely will make again on a hot Arizona day!!!

03/29/2007

So easy

02/27/2007

This was wonderful. I topped it with Nilla Waffers, which was the perfect touch!

02/16/2007

Easy to make, looks fancy & tastes great!

12/28/2006

So fresh and easy! I'll use more raspberry's next time.

12/11/2006

Refreshing, delicious summer treat. Very impressive presentation - my guests couldn't believe it was so easy. Splurge and get high quality sorbet - it's worth it.

10/28/2006

Very easy to make and a big hit at the church BBQ. I made two and it went very fast. Everyone kept asking...where'd that ice cream cake go?

10/06/2006

10/03/2006

Quick & easy. Always ready when family stops by and ends up staying for dinner.

09/22/2006

This is very easy and Great Tasting.

09/18/2006

I made this dessert for a dinner party with the raspberry sorbet and also made it for my family the next night. It was a big hit. It's a very refreshing summer dessert.

09/14/2006

I used strawberry sorbet, and it was so good. And I love that is low fat.

09/13/2006

Is very good,a little less sorbet was nice.

08/30/2006

Made this for a family barbecue - everyone just loved it! The vanilla and raspberry went perfect together. The sorbet does melt fast though, so it was a little messy to cut. I would definitely make it again!

08/18/2006

i made this recipe twice. once per the directions and it was very nice. refreshing and cool. my family loved it and asked for it to be a regular dessert. the second time i went a little cooky with it and took little paper cups and put a bit of the sherbet in the bottom and then the cream, put them all on a cookie sheet and froze them. it didnt take nearly as long to freeze as the big one. just tear the cups to unmold and to clean up, just toss them out! ;) a very nice presentation with the individual ones.

08/13/2006

08/10/2006

I have made this dessert a few times, and when it comes to ease of making and light refreshing flavor I give it five stars. As mentioned in other reviews though its not a travelling dessert, and it melts quickly so don't pick this one to take to the potluck! Also the recipe actually works best when the cool whip is not fully thawed. I have tried adding fruit to my pudding mix but that flopped...walnuts however were a great addition. So over all I give this dessert a 4.

08/09/2006

This recipe was great in this hot weather! It was very easy to make. It is very refreshing.

08/03/2006

Big hit with my friends, and they didn't even realize it was low fat!!

08/02/2006

07/31/2006

This was a big hit at the summertime BBQ, but it melts very quickly, and doesn't really travel well.

07/31/2006

This is overrated with the ice cream topping.

07/31/2006

It was good but the sorbet and coolwhip mix go soft at different times. But all it was a cool nonfat recipe.

07/26/2006

This is a great, light, low-fat summer dessert and very simple to make.

07/25/2006

this was awsome everyone loved and i didn't even use the raspberries on top

07/16/2006

07/11/2006

07/11/2006

I loved it! It was low fat and berry delicious! I would recomended this to anyone! Simple and Healthy! I posted this a couple of months ago but it still holds true.

07/06/2005

I've made this recipe a couple times with different combinations each time. I recommend strawberry sorbet with banana cream pudding. Delicious. I also like to add a fresh fruit layer in between the sorbet and the pudding. Adds a little something extra!

07/09/2006

This was very easy to make and tasted great! I would definitely make it again.

07/06/2006

Very light & tasty. In addition to the fresh raspberries, a raspberry sauce gives it a little something extra.

07/06/2006

I had this dessert without the raspberries on top and it was delicious!!

07/05/2006

Did not care for this dessert and neither did my guests. Fortunately, I had several desserts available.

07/05/2006

I made this for a July 4th BBQ and got rave reviews! I took one reviewer's advice and used cheesecake flavored pudding, and it was great. A great, light, summer dessert!

07/04/2006

07/02/2006

I have made this several times. I have used many different flavors of pudding & sherbet. I really like cheesecake pudding w/ raspberry. It is very easy to make & everyone loves it.

06/14/2005

I love this easy to make dessert! We have even subsituted it for b-day cakes in the summer!! It is much more diet friendly !

06/27/2006

I had no low sugar/low fat products at home, so I made this recipe with regular products. It is cool and refreshing, a perfect summer dessert.

08/19/2005

Very easy to make. I used rainbow sherbert, Jello Cheesecake flavor pudding and cut up strawberries. It was a hit. Just make sure to eat it right away as the sherbert has a tendency to melt fast.

06/01/2006

Easy and delicious. Enjoyed by all.

05/30/2006

This recipe is great. My aunt made it for Easter and I just made it recently for a dinner. Everyone loves it. It's so simple and great.

05/27/2006

No Brainer. Fast, quick and way to easy. I used strawberries because that is what I had. I made it for a big family get together. Everyone loved it as it was gone in 60 seconds. Had I known it was that good, I would have made 2

04/19/2006

Fast, easy, delicious dessert!

12/13/2005

This is a very good recipe! Plus it's low fat! Mine didn't turn out as perfect on the top as the picture but it still worked.

10/25/2005

When I made this, my friends coudn't stop raving over it, and asked for the recipe. Delicious!

10/15/2005

Incredibly easy, and it was a HUGE hit at the picnic!

10/09/2005

very good- this was a big hit at the party i served it at. great dessert because it's actually not that unhealthy!

09/28/2005

I would beef up the size of your ingredients if you want it to look as full as it does in the picture. It was an amazingly simple dish with beautiful results and the taste was great for our hot summer day! A definite must have in any collection.

09/28/2005

I'm not that fond of rasberries but this was delightfully cool and refreshing. I wonder what other flavors of sorbet I could try hmmmmm....

09/22/2005

Yummy - and quite impressive if you have guests!

09/22/2005

VERY GOOD! I brought this for a treat at work, and it was a HIT! Everyone asked for the recipe. I did not line the pan with foil, I would do that next time, was very messy without it!

09/18/2005

09/17/2005

Very easy, and very tasty. Mine didn't come out as neat looking or as deep red as the picture, but it tasted wonderfully and I keep getting requests for it.

09/16/2005

Recipe was fabulous. I did both versions low fat and regular. Everyone enjoyed it. I also substituted mango sorbet for the rasberry and it was out of this world. I tried it with chocolate pudding. Not very appetizing. Do not recommend the chocolate pudding.

09/04/2005

Great taste and looks so pretty. My kids are not adventurous eaters, but even they liked it. And it is so low-fat, low-sugar, etc. that my diabetic husband can eat this treat without worry.

09/04/2005

I made this for my BUNKO group and they all just loved it

08/31/2005

I used white chocolate pudding and double layed the sorbet & pudding mixture. It was a hit. Very refreshing and easy

08/31/2005

This is a quick and easy dessert that is unique and guilt free. I've used it several times for family gatherings and it is always a hit!

08/31/2005

I made it for a bar-b-que and it went really fast! The white part was delicious.

08/31/2005

It was so good I had to make it two days straight.

08/30/2005

this was great i even made one for my granparents and they loved it i used fat free suger free pudding it was a hit.

08/30/2005

Great for diabetics. I made this for my mother-in-law, who is a diabetic and she loved it. In fact, EVERYONE that ate it loved it!

I already rated this recipe once before, but I'd just like to add that I made it again this time using coconut cream flavored pudding, mango sorbet, and a tropical fruit medley from a fruit cup on top. It was such a summery tropical treat that tasted great! The reason this recipe is so great is not only because it is quick, easy, and delicious, but it also lets you be creative with a variety of flavor combinations.

08/26/2005

If I could I would give this 10 stars! Have made this 6 times, as shown because raspberries are in season, it is so refreshing on these hot days. As a weight watcher one desert will last me for days. But I learned my 23 year old son will eat a whole one by himself so I always make 2. The flavors blend well and I think the taste is fabulous. My nieghbor joined ww with me this week, so I gave her one to top of her dinners to inspire her that there are great tasting lowfat deserts for us too. Can't wait to hear from her. My husband is diabetic, so we all appreciate this desert more than I can say, we don't feel the usual punishment, that we can't have anything good. ha Thanx

08/26/2005

This recipe was just awesome!! It was so nice to make something so yummy but also not so bad for you. I will definitely make this again.

08/25/2005

This was really really good. I also used Fat free and no sugar added raspberry sorbet and low fat cream cheese to the pudding mixture! YUM! My husband had me put a reduced fat graham cracker crust on it, and who doesn't love that!?! But since it is all low fat ingredients, the pudding mixture isn't very creamy.

08/25/2005

08/25/2005

Try doing pineapple with crush pineapple on top or even try the orange sherbert ... excellent. Very refreshing.

08/22/2005

We absolutely LOVE this recipe! So easy and really wonderful - in addition to fresh raspberries, we use frozen raspberries and the juice as a topping. Fabulous!

08/19/2005

Made it for a bunch of family when they were visiting. I received nothing but praise for it. The only thing I didn't like was that the sorbet was melting before I could even serve it. Otherwise a great big ole hit!!!

08/17/2005

This was so easy and delicious. I used fat free raspberry sorbet. The kids loved it.

08/16/2005

Subtle flavoring. Very good.

08/14/2005

Superb!

08/14/2005

This is wonderful. It is easy and takes no time at all to make. Best of all it can be made days ahead of when you want to serve it.

08/13/2005

Excellent recipe....family loves it! Tried this one with various combinations of ingredients: Lime sherbet and blueberries, raspberries and kiwi with lime, used strawberries too....will try the crust idea next... I do agree with others that this is a serve and eat ASAP or it does begin to melt quickly!

08/12/2005

After reading other peoples comments they gave me an idea to try an oreo crust on the raspberry flavor.OMG was it ever good....It hit a home run at my place today. It was so good I'm making another om for my daughter-in-law baby shower this week end.Oh people try it with a crust so yummy....... Keep up the excellent tasty work Kraft.

08/10/2005

My sister and I loved this recipe My sister's friend did to it was a big hit.

08/10/2005

I made this recipe for relatives visiting from California whom I hadn't seen in many years, and it really made a hit! However, since sorbet is so expensive, I just used an inexpensive raspberry sherbet, and although the color wasn't as contrasting as on the recipe, it was still luscious and everyone loved it. Yes, this can be made inexpensively. I did not garnish it and did not need to. I'd make it again the same exact way.

08/09/2005

The dessert was decent. By the time the cool whip layer thawed, the sorbet layer was nearly melted. I found the ingredients were on the expensive side considering the unbalanced consistency of this dessert. It was easy and quick to make, but I wouldn't make it again.

08/08/2005

What was nice about this receipe is it was so incredibly easy. It look really elegant for about 5 minutes so be cautious about waiting too long to serve. It was served at a dinner party and was completely gone in about 5 minutes as well. The adults and kids enjoyed it!

08/05/2005

Although this was very easy to make I didn't think it was that good. It was kind of plain, and if you let it set out before serving the top layer would melt. If I do make it again I will add some kind of crust to it to make it more interesting. I do like the idea of using different flavored sherbets and pudding to make different flavor combinations. One I would like to try: strawberry sorbet + cheesecake flavored pudding + a graham cracker crust. I would use an oreo crust on the raspberry flavor.

08/02/2005

This was a great easy recipe to make. I am going to use it for a Bridal shower and it is going to be perfect. My kids loved it and they don't like much....Big hit in my family!

08/01/2005

I have made it with strawberries...It is great and so very easy...

07/31/2005

07/29/2005

this is very good. i still have it in the freezer and slice off a piece when i am in the mood!

07/28/2005

Quick and easy dessert to whip up in a pinch. Children of all ages will enjoy this one.

07/28/2005

07/28/2005

I had a very hard time cutting it. The sherbet would start to melt, but the pudding mix would stay hard. However, it ws VERY nummy.

07/25/2005

Very easy recipe to make. Also very good...to eat. My co-workers loved it.

07/21/2005

This was amazingly good and amazingly easy! This would be a great thing to make with kids - or let them make it since there is no hot oven to worry about. Looks very professional too! We didn't use the low-fat ingredients since we used what we already had but it was very rich and creamy! Thanks Kraft!

07/20/2005

its very DELICIOUS! I really LOVE it.

07/18/2005

i used a "french vanilla" pudding mix instead of the suggested 'vanilla.' the color was not the crisp white as pictured...instead it was a yellow-ish color...but the flavor was AWESOME. an idea: instead of using the large pan as suggested...use four of the "small throw away tins" to get smaller portions (perfect for parties or small families!)

07/16/2005

07/15/2005

07/14/2005

This was super easy, and it looks as though you spent hours. This was a very good dessert recipe for the diabetics in our family. it was also easy to increase the amount to make a 13x9 pan also.

07/12/2005

07/12/2005

AWESOME! Delicious and so easy you think that you are doing something wrong. My kids love it and it is an excellent change from typical ice cream. We will keep this stuff around all summer long!

07/10/2005

I prepared this treat on an extremely HOT day. It was immediately welcomed! It was cool, smooth, and very refreshing. I topped my Raspberry Sensation with blackberries instead of raspberries. I also prepared it with all fat- free ingredients.

07/08/2005

Awesome and easy too!

07/06/2005

I just made this recipe, and WOW!!! Very tasty but still low fat. It takes like ice cream, and I can't to make it again. Maybe with strawberries next time.

07/06/2005

07/06/2005

i made this with rainbow sherbet and it worked well.

07/06/2005

Wow, this was a hit and so easy to make. I used sugar free pudding, fat ree cool whip and fat free sorbet............YUM!

07/06/2005

I got rave reviews at the 4th of July family picnic! They couldnt believe it was made with the better for you ingredients! I used strawberry sorbet and blueberries for that red, white, and blue look! I will definately make it again and try different combonations of puddings and sorbet! Yummy recipe!

07/05/2005

THIS WAS THE BEST FOURTH OF JULY DESERT AT THE PARTY! KEEP UP THE GOOD RECIPES. MY FAMILY WENT NUTS OVER IT AS A MATTER OF FACT MY DAUGHTER WAS SO ANXIOUS TO HAVE SECONDS THAT SHE BROKE THE DISH IT WAS IN.

07/05/2005

My family loved this recipe. I made it with strawberry sorbet (all they had at the grocery store) and used cheesecake flavored jello, and it turned out wonderful. Even my dad, who is anti-anything I cook (because its usually healthy) admitted this was great. I give it two thumbs up!

07/05/2005

Good recipe, but I would refrigerate the cool whip mixture for 15 min. before layering it on the sorbet and freezing, to prevent ice crystals from forming.

07/05/2005

Simple to make, but sensational to serve. I added blueberries, to make this recipe red, white & blue for the 4th. Everyone at dinner enjoyed it.

07/04/2005

Cool and refreshing. Perfect for a hot summer day.

07/04/2005

I made this for my family and they loved it! I couldn't find raspberry sherbet, so I used orange, but it turned out great. I will definitely make this again. Very easy!

07/02/2005

Everyone thought it was made of real cream. It slices very well. I was a hit at my party.

07/02/2005

WOW! I really impressed my guests. Not only was it easy to prepare and serve, but it was such a visual pleasure when sliced and served.

07/02/2005

it was pretty good considering i don't like cheesecake

07/02/2005

06/29/2005

This was a great recipe, easy fast and looks as good as it tastes.....you will make this more than one trust me!

06/28/2005

A big hit with everyone!!!

06/28/2005

This is a wonderful dessert, so creamy. I made it for Father's Day and it was such a hit. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe. I have been asked to make it again for a 4th of July party.

06/28/2005

Everyone loved this recipe. I had no problem with this melting too quickly. It is easy to make and you could vary the recipe to cover almost any type of fruit.

06/27/2005

I was a delight! Very quick and easy but well worth it when you get to taste it! I might experiment using chocolate pudding and choco cool whip, once in a while. It was delicious!

06/27/2005

I made this with strawberry sherbet instead of the raspberry. I also put the strawberries inbetween the layers. We loved it!

06/27/2005

I thought the pudding/cool whip layer was delicious. It's a very light dessert and hard to believe it's low fat and low calorie. the only problem is that the sorbet layer melts faster than the pudding layer.

06/26/2005

This recipe is good but I didn't really care too much for the whip cream. I would like to try this receipe with french vanilla ice cream for the bottom layer, vanilla pudding in the middle and rasberry sherbet on top.

06/24/2005

Was very good and would make a nice dessert for a small dinner party. Everyone loved it!

06/24/2005

well i made this recipe tonight and it was awesome... i would make this again and even try different fruit flavors... everyone enjoyed it... and it was only 1 gram of fat which is amazing....

06/24/2005

WOW!!!!!!

06/23/2005

It was wonderful! I used the new fat-free cheescake flavored pudding and it worked out really well.

06/23/2005

You can use sugar free sorbet, sugar free pudding, skim milk, and fat free cool whip! I also made this with orange sherbet for the kids!

06/22/2005

Very refreshing after a long day in the garden, and it's so easy to make!

06/22/2005

This is also refreshing. The raspberry and vanilla jell-o make a good combination. Everyone loved it. So easy to make.

06/21/2005

06/21/2005

Mine became known as Pink Mush because we didn't pay attention to how hot it was in the kitchen while thawing. But it tasted wonderful and still had some resemblance to the provided picture. Will definitely try it again since it was so easy to prepare.

06/21/2005

I couldn't believe this has almost no fat. It was great! Will definately make this again. You could try different sugarless pudding flavors for a different treat.

06/21/2005

when i made this recipe everybody dug in to get some!!!!i had no leftovers

06/21/2005

06/20/2005

This is fantastic. It was easy to make and everyone just loved it. I will be sure to make it again.

06/20/2005

I made this recipe for friends/ family while camping this weekend. Everyone loved, kids and adults alike. It was so simple and I'll definately make it again.

06/20/2005

06/20/2005

It was very easy to make and also very tasty!! The best part is that it's low-fat, but you can't tell!

06/20/2005

I served it over the weekend to friends and family. Everyone loved it. Super easy, and a big hit.

06/20/2005

06/18/2005

I made this to use as a birthday cake for my aunt. Every one loved it. It was a super hot day. I used fresh strawberries instead of raspberry. Next time I want to use chocolate pudding.

06/17/2005

06/17/2005

I'm wondering if this would be good with raspberry jello in place of the sorbet/sherbert and how much that would change the total carbs. I think it would taste good with jello.

06/17/2005

The sorbet melted very fast while the pudding-cool whip mixture was still very hard after 15 minutes of thawing. Mine was not as pretty as the picture but taste good.

06/16/2005

Even thought it melted pretty fast, it was still very good.

06/16/2005

Made a peach version too, awesome BBQ dessert.

06/16/2005

06/15/2005

06/15/2005

This is an awesome summer treat. Super easy to make and great with a little chocolate sauce drizzled over the top!

06/14/2005

Would like it even more if the pudding part were not so frozen. Pudding thaws more slowly than the sorbet. But wonderful!

06/14/2005

Really glad this was easy because I would have been very disappointed if I had spent a lot of time on it. The sherbert became crystalized and didn't feel right with the creamier bottom layer. Was Ok, but wouldn't make again.

06/14/2005

Personally, it would be "superb" to me if the pudding portion was a little less sweet. A MUST try addition: drizzled chocolate over each individual serving!!!!! Fabulous!!!!!

06/13/2005

I made this for the office and my parents, everyone loved it, great for summer. it's a must , everyone wanted the recipe.

06/13/2005

Very easy to make. A big hit with everyone.

06/12/2005

this recipe is so good and easy to make. everyone loved it :) i will make it for my father's day :) hope he enjoys it i recommend it 100%.

06/12/2005

Just glad that I didn't follow the directions to a "T" if you notice there is no mention of when to incorporate the fresh fruit.

06/12/2005

Wow! What a hit at our summer get to gether tonight! I made it with lemon pudding. Ca't wait to try it with orange sherbet.

06/11/2005

Excellent - all of my family, even those who don't do "red" fruity things loved it. With a no sugar added sorbet, it fit my Weight Watchers meal plan beautifully.

06/10/2005

I just want to know if there is some one that can tell me if I can use sugar free ice cream instead of sherbert in recipe? I am on the South Beach Diet and that is a lot of Sugar. <<< From Mary, Kraft Kitchens Expert ~ Sugar free ice cream can be substituted for the sherbet. >>>

06/08/2005

This was a big hit at out last get-together! Be sure to solidly freeze the sorbet layer before you add the vanilla layer, or else it doesn't look as pretty as the picture. A drizzle of chocolate syrup on each slice was a nice addition. Next time I'll try orange sorbet instead = creamsicle!

06/10/2005

scrumpdidlyumpcios

06/09/2005

MMMM, try it with the cheesecake pudding and strawberry sorbet and top with strawberries. Just like cheesecake.

06/08/2005

This is a quick and easy way to entertain those who are watching there weight, and just as tasty for those who are not!

06/07/2005

This was a tremendous hit at the closing-the-school picnic.

06/06/2005

you can also substitute lemon or chocolate sorbet
