MACLAREN'S Ham Slices recipe

What You Need

1 pkg. (397 g) frozen puff pastry, thawed
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
125 g (1/2 of 250-g tub) MacLaren's Imperial Sharp Cold Pack Cheddar Cheese Product, crumbled
170 g thinly sliced deli ham

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Cut pastry in half along perforated line; roll out one piece to 12-inch square. Spread with 2 Tbsp. of the mustard; top with half each of the cheese and meat.

ROLL up pastry from opposite sides to make two rolls that meet in the centre. Repeat with remaining pastry and filling; cover. Refrigerate 20 min. Cut each roll into 20 slices, each about 1/4 inch thick. Place, cut-sides up, on lightly greased baking sheets.

BAKE 15 min. or until browned.

Make it Easy
For best results, puff pastry should be cold when preparing this recipe.
Make Ahead
Prepare pastry rolls as directed. (Do not cut into slices.) Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate up to 24 hours. Cut into slices and bake as directed just before serving.
Storage Know-How
Have leftover ham? Place in resealable freezer-weight plastic bag and store in freezer up to 1 month. When ready to serve, unwrap and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 8 to 10 min. or until heated through.
