What You Need

1 pkg. (250 g) Jet-Puffed Marshmallows

1 pkg. (225 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

2/3 cup chopped pecans

Make It

DIP marshmallows, 1 at a time, in chocolate, turning to evenly coat each marshmallow. Gently shake off excess chocolate.

PLACE marshmallows, in single layer, on sheets of waxed paper; sprinkle with nuts.

LET stand at room temperature 2 hours or until chocolate is firm.

Shortcut

Use a food processor to quickly chop the pecans.

Substitute

For peanutty truffles, substitute peanuts for the pecans.

I did this for a bake sale by putting sucker sticks in the bottom and sprinkles on top. They all sold out and the kids loved them.

I made this last year for my son's class but used candy sprinkle instead of nuts. It was a big hit and some of the kids asked my this year if I was going to make it again.

These were as easy to make as it seemed they were. My daughter & I made then for a Guide Thinking Day party and we crushed up the mint chocolate Girl Guide Cookies and used them instead of nuts - excellent!

I would have liked to have instructions on how to melt the chocolate as I have never done that before. Other than that, these were a hit. I found how to melt chocolate by searching google.
