COVER bottom of greased 8 x 12 inch (2 L) baking dish with half of bread cubes.

COMBINE ham, salad dressing, onion, celery and green pepper; spoon over bread.

SPRINKLE cheese over salad dressing mixture.

SPRINKLE remaining bread over cheese.

COMBINE eggs and milk; pour over top. Cover. Refrigerate overnight.

HEAT oven to 350°F (180°C).

BAKE, uncovered 45 to 60 minutes, or until centre is set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
