What You Need

3 lb. (1.4 kg) new potatoes (about 8), cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup thin red onion slices

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

2 Tbsp. Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits

1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

1/4 cup Kraft Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

1/4 cup Kraft Mayo Real Mayonnaise

2 tsp. Dijon mustard

Make It

COOK potatoes in boiling water 10 to 12 min. or until tender; drain. Place in large bowl. Add onions, tomatoes, bacon and basil; mix lightly.

MIX remaining ingredients. Add to potato mixture; toss to coat.

REFRIGERATE several hours or until chilled.

Variation

Prepare using Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing and Miracle Whip Spread.

How to Serve Potato Salad Warm

To serve warm, heat bacon bits in microwave while potatoes are draining. Microwave in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 10 sec. or just until warmed. Add to drained potatoes with tomatoes and basil; mix lightly. Add remaining ingredients; toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Very nice recipe; I used both the Italian Dressing and the Balsamic Vinegar mixed with the miracle whip and Dijon mustard.

Made this twice, and I love it. I use whole grain dijon mustard, instead of regular yellow mustard, which gives just the right amount of zing.

This is a very different tasting potato salad, but a nice change. But be careful of using too much vinegarette, as it is "biting" and adjust for your family size, as to the 1/4 cups.

I made this ahead of time for the cottage and just added the tomatoes at the last minute. A hit with everyone. I sampled it warm the night I made it and it was delicious that way too. Leftovers were still good a couple days later.

I made this and what a hit. I made it the night before and I had a sample or 2. At my BBQ I put it at the end of the table,so I would have leftovers the next day. To my surprise (not really) it was gone. I made it 3 days later - It was surely gone the next day. LOVED IT!!!
