1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) condensed chicken broth

1 cup orzo pasta, uncooked

2-1/2 cups chopped fresh vegetables, such as broccoli, carrots, green onions and/or red peppers

1/3 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese

COMBINE 1 can (10 fl oz/284 mL) condensed chicken broth, 1 cup uncooked Orzo Pasta and 1/3 cup water in large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 7 minutes.

STIR in 2-1/2 cups chopped fresh vegetables, such as broccoli, carrots, green onions and red peppers. Cook an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat.

STIR in 1/3 cup Kraft Grated Parmesan.

The Parmesan made this dish delicious. I was using my gas stove and will need to use a lower temperature next time - a fair amount of orzo was stuck to the bottom of the pot.

It was good. The cooking times listed aren't long enough. I found the vegetables I added were still raw.

Excellent. I lightly sauteed the veggies before adding to the orzo, I found they didn't cook very well the other way. Needed a bit more seasoning too.

I make this recipe all the time. I add chicken and instead of eating it as a side, I eat it as a pasta dish instead!

Our neighbors recently introduced us to orzo pasta using this recipe. It was absolutely wonderful & so I have come to the Kraft site to get the recipe myself. Will likely become a family favorite & staple.

This turned out great! I made it and then added chicken peices and used the mixture to stuff green peppers! The only thing was that the Orzo really stuck to the pan when boiling, so I had to turn it down really low and adjust the cooking time!
