what you need

450 g whole wheat farfalle (bow-tie pasta) (about 5 cups), uncooked
1-1/2 cups light cream (5% fat)
1 cup walnut pieces, toasted
3/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Finely Shredded Cheese, divided
1 clove garlic, peeled
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper

make it

ADD pasta to large saucepan of boiling water; cook 10 min. or just until tender.

MEANWHILE, place cream, walnuts, 1/2 cup of the cheese, the garlic and salt and pepper in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

DRAIN pasta; return to pan. Add sauce; mix lightly. Cook on medium heat 3 to 5 min. or just until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.

If you love garlic, feel free to add another clove.

This recipe, even with light cream, is an indulgent recipe so stick to portion size. Round out the meal with a tossed salad and glass of skim milk.
