What You Need

1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) mango-flavoured peach slices, drained
1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) pear halves in light syrup, drained
3 Tbsp. Brandy
3 Tbsp. butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 Tbsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Gently stir fruit and brandy. Pour fruit into greased 8-inch square baking dish.

BEAT butter and granulated sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs. Stir in flour and baking powder. Gradually add milk, mixing until well blended. Pour batter over fruit. Sprinkle with brown sugar.

BAKE 30 min. Serve warm.

Substitute
For a non-alcoholic version, substitute juice from the canned fruit for the brandy.
Creative Leftovers
Save drained fruit juice and add a little sparkling water for a refreshing fruit drink to enjoy while baking.
