What You Need

1 cup flour
1 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup Kraft Smooth Peanut Butter
1 egg
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, coarsely chopped

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

MIX first 5 ingredients. Beat butter, sugars and peanut butter in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Add chocolate; mix well.

DROP heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 1 min.; remove from baking sheets to wire racks. Cool completely.

Substitute 1 cup Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips for the chopped chocolate.
