Sangria Wine Jelly

what you need

1-1/2 cups dry, full-bodied red wine
3/4 cup orange juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
3-1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 pouch Certo Liquid Pectin

make it

COMBINE wine, orange juice, lemon juice and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly.

IMMEDIATELY stir in liquid pectin; return to a full boil. Boil hard for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; skim off any foam.

POUR quickly into warm, sterilized jars filling up to 1/4 inch from rim. Seal while hot with sterilized 2-piece lids with new centers. Let stand at room temperature until set. Unopened, sealed jelly can be stored on the shelf for up to one year; once opened, refrigerate.

Size-Wise
This will make either four 250 mL jars, or eight 125 mL jars. The smaller jars are great for quick gifts; add a ribbon or lid topper for a personal touch.
Keeping It Safe
Check seals; any unsealed jars should be kept in the refrigerator and used within 3 weeks.
