What You Need

3 cups rigatoni pasta, uncooked

3/4 lb. (340 g) Italian sausage links, cut into bite-size pieces

1 red onion, sliced

1/4 cup tomato paste

1/4 cup Kraft Sun-Dried Tomato & Oregano Dressing

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese

Make It

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

MEANWHILE, brown sausage in large nonstick skillet on medium heat, stirring occasionally. Drain; return to skillet. Stir in onions and tomato paste; cover. Cook 15 min. or until onions are tender and sausage is done, stirring occasionally. Stir in dressing.

DRAIN pasta; place in large bowl. Add sausage mixture; mix lightly. Top with parsley and cheese.

My family of 5 ate every bit of this up!! Rave reviews! I used extra Dressing like most people said to but I found it a bit too strong - I will maybe use tomato sauce next time, but otherwise it was yummy!!

Very good...I added more tomato paste...also added red peppers and hot sauce. The sausage I used was hot Italian so there was a nice amount of heat for us!

The sauce is really thick, so I kept adding water to it. The recipe tastes good, but next time I think I'll try it with tomato sauce instead of paste and a spicier sausage.

this recipe was pretty good although next time I'll try it with extra lean ground beef or ground turkey. We found it a bit too heavy with the Italian sausage.(I used ground sausage)I also added diced peppers and mushrooms and added more tomato paste as was suggested by others.
