What You Need

17 Kraft Caramels
2 cups 2% milk
1 can (370 mL) evaporated milk
1/2 cup Back to Nature Trail Mix - Almonds, Raisins, Cranberries and Pistachios, chopped
1/2 cup sevian (short-cut thin vermicelli), uncooked
1/4 tsp. saffron threads
1 tsp. ground cardamom
Sheer khurma is a sweetened milk dessert flavoured with dried fruit.

Make It

COOK and stir first 3 ingredients in large saucepan on high heat 10 min. or until caramels are completely melted and sauce is well blended.

ADD next 3 ingredients; stir. Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 20 min. or until sevian is tender. Remove from heat.

STIR in cardamom. Serve warm.

Variation
For a change of pace, prepare as directed, then cool and refrigerate 2 hours or until chilled.
Substitute
Substitute vermicelli for the sevian; break into 1-inch pieces before cooking as directed.
