What You Need!

1 acorn squash (1-1/2 lb./675 g), cut lengthwise in half, seeded
2 slices  bacon
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
1 Tbsp.  KRAFT SIGNATURE Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

Make It!

PLACE squash, cut-sides up, in microwaveable dish; cover with plastic wrap, turning back one corner to vent.

MICROWAVE on HIGH 12 to 14 min. or until squash is tender. Meanwhile, cook bacon 8 to 10 min. or until crisp, turning occasionally; drain.

MIX syrup and dressing; brush onto squash. Crumble bacon; sprinkle over squash.

Whole uncut winter squash varieties, such as acorn, spaghetti and butternut, do not require refrigeration. Store in a cool dark place for up to 1 month before using as desired.

" I really liked this recipe, but I think next time I would only use the balsamic vinagrette and omit the maple syrup. I found it to be a little bit too sweet... That said, it was so easy to make and even my brother, who is rather picky, had some a liked it."
