What You Need

1/4 cup Kraft Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tuscan Italian Dressing
3 lb. (1.4 kg) bone-in chicken thighs and drumsticks
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 onion, coarsely chopped
1/2 cup each green and red pepper strips
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can (19 fl oz/ 540 mL) crushed tomatoes
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
2 cups long-grain white rice, uncooked

Make It

HEAT dressing in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken, in batches; cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until each piece is browned on both sides.

PLACE mushrooms, onions, peppers and garlic in slow cooker; top with chicken. Mix tomatoes and thyme; pour over chicken. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 5 hours).

COOK rice as directed on package, omitting salt. Serve chicken mixture over rice.
