BEAT 1 egg white with a fork just until foamy. Stir in 1 cup each almonds and pecans and 2 cups whole wheat cereal squares; mix until well coated.
MIX 1/4 cup sugar with 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and a dash of cayenne pepper; add to nuts and cereal and toss lightly until evenly coated.
SPREAD onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 325°F for 15-20 minutes. Cool completely. Store in airtight container.
