COMBINE pecans and 2 Tbsp. of syrup in small microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2 min. or until thickened, stirring every 30 sec. Spread onto large piece of waxed paper or foil; cool completely.
MEANWHILE, pour milk into medium bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until mixture is well blended and starts to thicken. Add 1/4 cup of the remaining syrup; mix well. Gently stir in 1/2 cup of the whipped topping.
SPOON 1 Tbsp. of the wafer crumbs into each of four dessert dishes; top each with 1/2 cup of the pudding mixture, 1 Tbsp. of the wafer crumbs and 1 Tbsp. of the remaining whipped topping. Top with pecans.
DRIZZLE evenly with remaining 2 Tbsp. syrup just before serving. Store leftover desserts in refrigerator.
