Sweet Potato, Apple and Spinach Salad

I don't understand this recipe. I burnt the catalina in the fry pan trying to cook the yams, ended up puttin them in the microwave to cook. Are the apples & pears supposed to be soft? I added some leftover ham and its surprisingly not bad, but i'd modify it more next time so its easier to make, and have extra dressing to add to the spinach

This was an excellent combination of flavors. I found my yams took longer to cook then 10 minutes though. I added some water to the frying pan and steamed them to soften them up.

I added grilled and sliced skinless boneless chicken breast to the top of each portion to make a meal.. It was delicious and so nutritious! This is a great recipe.

This is a simple, and very flavorful side salad. The whole family raved about it. I will make this again, and often. I did add a little more dressing than the recipe called for.
