BEAT 1/4 cup each butter, sugar and 1 egg in small bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.

STIR in 1 cup each flour and whole grain cereal flakes with cranberries and almonds, 1 tsp. Magic Baking Powder, a handful grated orange rind or dried cranberries and 1/4 cup milk. Shape dough into a 14 x 2 in. log on a greased baking sheet. Sprinkle with Sugar in the Raw® Turbinado Style Golden Sugar.

BAKE at 350°F for 30 min. or until lightly browned. Cool 10 min. Using serrated knife, cut log into diagonal slices about 3/4 in. thick. Freeze on baking tray, then transfer to a freezer container. Store in freezer. When ready to use, simply toast in toaster oven.

Note
The name biscotti means "twice baked". The dough is rolled into slabs and oven baked once. Then the slabs are sliced by hand in diagonal lines and baked a second time to make them firm and crunchy.
