what you need

1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) peach halves in light syrup, drained
1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) pear halves in light syrup, drained
1 can (14 fl oz/398 mL) pineapple chunks in juice, drained
1/2 cup raisins
2 Tbsp. each butter and honey
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

PREHEAT oven to 325°F. Arrange fruit and raisins in 9-inch square baking dish.

COMBINE butter, honey, lemon juice and cinnamon in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 min. Stir until well mixed. Pour over fruit.

BAKE 25 to 30 min. or until heated through and syrup is bubbly. Serve warm over ice cream, pound cake or angel food cake.

Fruit compote can be made a day ahead and reheated in the microwave.

Add a few tablespoons of your favourite liqueur to the fruit mixture.
