

Here's a super-convenient recipe to help you prepare this famous Bengali dessert. You don’t need to be a connoisseur to appreciate mishti doi, all you need is good taste.
1 pkg. (269 g) Kraft Caramels
1 can (370 mL) evaporated milk
1 cup plain Balkan-style yogurt, well stirred
1/2 tsp. ground cardamom
HEAT oven to 300oF.
COOK and stir caramels and milk in saucepan on medium heat 7 min. or until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended. Remove from heat; cool 5 min., stirring frequently. Stir in yogurt and cardamom.
POUR into 1-L casserole.
BAKE 1 hour or until centre is set; cool completely. Refrigerate 2 hours.
Serve with fresh berries.
