Even your saas will be convinced you made the malai tikka in the traditional punjabi way! Here’s a quick and easy way to prepare simple and delicious chicken tikka.
1/2 cup Miracle Whip Dressing
2 Tbsp.lemon juice
1 tsp. dried fenugreek leaves
1 tsp. garam masala
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. minced gingerroot
1/4 tsp. chili powder
1-1/2 lb. (675 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
MIX all ingredients except chicken; pour over chicken in shallow dish. Stir to evenly coat chicken. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate.
HEAT barbecue to medium-high. Thread chicken onto skewers.
GRILL 8 to 10 min. on each side or until chicken is done.
Substitute 2 tsp. curry powder for all the dried seasonings.
Serve with fresh tomato-cucumber salad on the side.
