  • Add frozen fruit and milk in a food processor and mix until frozen fruit is thoroughly pureed (process less if you want some fruit chunks remaining).
  • Add weight loss supplement powder and Crystal Light and continue processing until preferred consistency is achieved.

Notes

* Canned pineapple blends better than fresh ** Addition of frozen apple makes the beverage more creamy *** 2% milk is recommended in most meal replacement weight loss powders. Total approximate calories per serving (recipe makes 2 servings) is 195 cal. One can add about 1/4 cup of flax to increase the already good fibre content found in the pineapple and apple. Experiment with different Crystal Light flavours and fruit varieties (remember a small amount of frozen apple will make any combination a bit more creamy). Strawberry flavoured supplement can be substituted for vanilla in some combinations of fruits with frozen strawberries. The Crystal Light adds that extra zip to your smoothie.
