  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. Wash and peel potatoes. Slice as thinly as possible and place in a bowl of cold water so the potatoes will not turn brown.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine all the other ingredients, reserving 1/2 a cup of shredded cheese. Drain the water from the potatoes and add them to the bowl, mixing to combine and coat all pieces.
  • Spray a 9" x 13" glass baking dish with cooking spray. Layer the potatoes evenly in the dish. Pour the remaining liquid over the top. If the potatoes are not covered in liquid, add a bit more milk. Top with the reserved 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking. Test with a fork to see if the potatoes are cooked through. Thicker slices of potatoes will take longer to cook completely.

You can substitute any flavour of Philadelphia Cooking Creme and Kraft Shredded Cheeses to suit your own taste. This went really well with a baked spiral ham.
