  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 2 quart baking dish. Rub pork chops with salt, pepper, and chili powder. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, add chops, and brown on both sides. Add Fresh mushrooms and fry for a minute or two. Remove from skillet. Mix in bowl mushroom soup and milk; stir until blended.
  • 2. Arrange sliced potatoes evenly in prepared baking dish. Arrange chops on top of potatoes. Pour soup mixture over chops.
  • 3. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Uncover, and bake 30 minutes more, or until potatoes are tender.

    This recipe is really fast and easy to prepare. I will make again - I liked that the chili flavour stuck with the pork chops - but didn't go through the sauce with the potatoes. Definitely a kid friendly recipe
