  • Mix oatmeal, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Mix in milk, eggs, applesauce and sugar. You can stir in dried fruit, nuts or additional spices if desired at this point.
  • You can also cover and refrigerate this overnight to make for less prep time in the morning.
  • Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Notes

I love putting this together the night before and sticking it in the fridge. It makes for a quick and healthy hot breakfast in the morning. Our favourite way to have this is with raisins, cinnamon and nutmeg.
