  • Mash bananas well, beat eggs.
  • Put all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over low heat until mixture thickens and resembles stirred custard.
  • Refrigerate until cold.

Notes

I found this in a 1974 issue of Australian Women's Weekly and just had to try it. Fantastic on pancakes or peanut butter and toast. Also adds a lovely rich flavor to oatmeal or rice pudding.
