  • Fry onions and mushrooms in a large Dutch oven or skillet, until onions are clear.
  • Add chicken and warm through. Stir in peas, BBQ sauce and water, bring to a boil.
  • Stir in instant rice, cover and let stand for 10 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.

Notes

This is our family's favourite quick weeknight meal. You can substitute any cooked meat or frozen veggies you have on hand.
