  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix: ground beef, garlic powder, and season salt. Pour the ground beef on a large greased cookie sheet and with wet hands, press the beef evenly on cookie sheet. Bake in oven for 30 min or until firm to cut.
  • In large pan (Dutch oven size), fill pan half full with water. Add potatoes and bring to boil. Turn to medium heat. Cook 30 to 40 min (until fork just starts to break them). Pour water off to level of potatoes. Add carrots, onions, celery, and corn. Stir now and again 15 min. Add peas.
  • Using a plastic spatula, cut the cooked ground beef into bite size pieces and add to the veggies (make sure you remove all the ground beef from the cookie sheet). Stir. Add soy sauce and vegetable sauce. Stir. In large cup, add water or beef broth, add flour; stir well. Pour into the center of the cooking stew and stir now and again for 30 min. Serve.
