  • Combine meat, bread crumbs, onion, peppers and mushrooms. Mix mayo, barbecue sauce and eggs together then mix into meat mixture. Cut cheese into 3/4" cubes, stir into meat mixture.
  • Pack into a foil lined 9 x 5 x 3" loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 70 minutes. Pour off fat. Let stand 30 minutes before removing from pan. Serve warm or chilled.

Notes

Add or subtract mushrooms, peppers according to taste. For a cheesier flavour use more cheese. This recipe is excellent if using ground chicken or turkey as well. To reduce fat use low fat mayo or Miracle Whip. This recipe is an original Kraft Recipe from the 1980's
