  • Cook potatoes in boiling water, until soft for mashing. While potatoes are boiling, season chicken with garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook chicken in a frying pan sprayed with cooking spray until no longer pink and cooked through. Once chicken is cooked, add both cans of cream of chicken soup and simmer until soup is mixed through.
  • Pour chicken mixture into a 9x13-inch casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Pour frozen vegetables on top of chicken mixture. Once potatoes are cooked, drain and mash using butter or margarine and milk. Place mashed potatoes evenly on top of the vegetable layer. Sprinkle Kraft Double Cheddar Cheese on top.
  • Bake in oven at 350 degrees F for approximately 30 minutes or until heated through and bubbly. Enjoy.

After our family grew tired of shepherd’s pie, my sister and I created this White Meat alternative to an old classic. Michelle and Rashelle Calgary, AB

This is an excellent alternative to sheppards pie. It was easy to make and tasted delicious. Perfect hot meal on a cold day!
