  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Butterfly chicken (slice chicken in half leaving it connected).
  • Halve 1 slice of Swiss cheese and place on half of chicken. Flake ham and place on top of cheese. Place other half of cheese on top of ham. Close the chicken and secure with 3 toothpicks. You can use more toothpicks if necessary, but use the same number of toothpicks in each piece, it helps when removing later. Roll in your favourite Shake N' Bake flavour, I prefer Cajun.
  • Cook for 30 minutes. Remove toothpicks befor serving.


Sometimes it is difficult to see the toothpicks after they are cooked, that's why it is helpful to have the same number in each, so you don’t miss one, ouch! Serve with a veg and starch, I usually serve with noodles.
