  • Shape into little balls. Roll in your hands. Place on cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in double boiler. An option: small amount of paraffin wax shavings gives shine to the chocolate.
  • Dip the chilled balls into the chocolate to coat (forks help to roll). Place on parchment paper or wax paper on a cookie sheet to harden. Store in tins using parchment paper between layers. Made ahead a week or so allows the Christmas balls to season.

Notes

CHRISTMAS BALLS are a long time family favourite since 1984 and perhaps longer than that. This is a much requested recipe.

    Excellant, only I used Extra Crunchy Peanut Butter instead of adding additional nuts. mmmmmmm
