  • Melt marshmallows, corn syrup, margarine and chocolate chips in microwave for 1-2 minutes. Stir and add Rice Krispies and oatmeal.
  • Drop on parchment lined cookie sheet using a cookie scoop (lightly sprayed with cooking spray.)
  • Place in the fridge for 15 minutes and enjoy. Best stored in airtight container in the fridge.


I made up this recipe so my kids had something easy they could make that would be similar to no bake haystack cookies. Haystacks are easy to make but I don't like how they dry out after sitting for a day. These tasty treats have become a favorite in our house. If you wish you can take out 1/4 cup of Rice Krispies and 1/4 cup rolled oats and add in 1/2 cup Craisins, raisins or crushed almonds. Another great variation Peanut Butter Cocoa Crunchies. Instead of 1/3 cup margarine use 1/4 cup margarine and 1/3 cup peanut butter.
