  • In a large stock pot, brown hamburger. Add onions, garlic, spices, herbs, Worcestershire sauce, salsa and stir. Add diced vegetables, stir. Pour all the liquid ingredients into the pot, stir.
  • Bring the pot to a boil, remove lid. Lower temperature to a rapid simmer. Continue simmering for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add pasta, and continue simmering for 30 minutes more.
  • Serve into bowls, and top with shredded cheese.

Notes

If boiling soup bones, skim fat from the broth. Or use store bought, low sodium beef/chicken stock. Personal Note: The ingredients listed above are only what was in my fridge that had to be used up. Please jazz up this freezer friendly, flavorful, economical, house-warming soup with whatever you may have on hand. Cheers, M
