  • Make cupcakes according to directions on pkg.
  • While cupcakes cool make frosting: Cream butter until fluffy and add vanilla. Add sugar about one cup at a time and beat well. Add cream and beat until fluffy. Add Kool-Aid and mix well for even colour.
  • Pipe with an icing bag or spread onto your cupcakes.

Notes

This is a fantastic way to flavour and colour your cupcakes in one easy step. To use more than one colour, divide icing into separate bowls with about 1-1/2 cups in each bowl. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon of Kool-Aid into each bowl. Makes about 4-1/2 cups of icing.
