  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl except bread and cheese.
  • Spray 2 muffin pans or my aluminum foil muffin tins with cooking spray. Take a few slices of white or whole wheat bread. Roll with rolling pin or glass bottle until very thin. Use a cookie cutter or glass (the size circumference of the muffin tins) and place thin slices round bread in the bottom of tins. Place in oven on broil for 5-7 minutes until toasted.
  • Then add all hand mixed ingredients in the shape of a ball, place in muffin tin/pan. Make a little groove in center of ball to add your favorite BBQ sauce. Cover with aluminum foil. Cook for 30 minutes then remove foil. Cook for additional 5 minutes with remaining cheese on top.

Can be frozen. You will probably have lots of leftover meat. I usually cook 1/2, save 1/2 and freeze. Make sure you write the date and what package has the "cooked meat" and "uncooked" meat. This recipe is a sure hit as an appetizer at any party or gathering. Also makes a wonderful dinner with veggies when in a pinch! Enjoy! Lisa Stokes
