  • Place roast in a deep roasting pan. Combine next 4 ingredients in a small bowl, spread mixture over roast and layer with onions. Pour beer and stock over top, season with a little salt and pepper.
  • Cover with foil and place in a 325°F oven for 3 hours, removing foil the last 20 minutes to brown roast.
  • Thicken juices with 1 Tbsp. cornstarch blended with cold water. Bring to a boil to thicken and serve over meat.

Notes

Delicious served with mashed potatoes or spatzle. Parslied carrots and red cabbage gives it an authentic feel.
