  • Preheat oven to 425ºF. Prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine flour, cheese, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and herb blend. Form a well. In a 2 cup measure, combine buttermilk and oil. Whisk to emulsify. Pour into dry ingredients well. Stir gently to thoroughly combine. Turn onto parchment paper. Gently pat out dough to 1 " thickness, approximately 10" x 6". Score through with a sharp knife into 10 biscuits. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately score again into portions. Serve hot.

Notes

If your Italian herb blend contains salt, the 1/4 tsp of salt can be omitted.
