  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Whip all ingredients together with electric hand mixer adding the dry ingredients slowly to the wet ingredients. Continue to whip for 2 minutes.
  • Bake cake in a flute pan for 50 to 55 minutes.
  • Frosting: Mix frosting together with electric hand mixer until you reach the consistency of a thick pudding, usually about 6-8 minutes. Make sure cake is cool before you add frosting. Cake looks beautiful when you make "peaks" with the frosting.
