  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and let cool.
  • Melt butter in small saucepan and whisk flour to make a paste. Add tomato juice slowly to a thickened consistency. Mix cooked spaghetti with the sauce.
  • Fill half 8x11 pan with spaghetti, top with half the grated cheese. Top with remaining spaghetti mixture and cover with remaining cheese.
  • Bake at 300°F for 30 minutes.

Notes

I add some celery stalks and a small onion to the boiling water with spaghetti. When drained throw celery and onion out. When mixing the tomato sauce, add one or two packets of sweetener. This is also very good the next day fried in a small amount of butter until heated.
