  • Clean the asparagus and trim the ends where they break off easily.
  • Slice the prosciutto meat into 1 1/2 inch strips = 8 slices X 3 stripes = 24 pieces. Drizzle a little Italian dressing over the asparagus to coat. Wrap a strip of prosciutto around each asparagus piece from end to end to cover the spear and pinch ends lightly to seal.
  • Place wrapped asparagus spears on BBQ. BBQ until asparagus is tender approx. 4 - 5 minutes each side.

Notes

Serve hot as an appetizer. Asparagus will be el dente tender and prosciutto is crispy.
