  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Toss fruit with dry jelly powder and lemon juice; spoon into 2 (2-cup) baking dishes sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Cut in margarine with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; sprinkle over fruit mixture.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until apples are tender.


Substitute Bartlett pears for the apples.

Special Extra

Serve topped with thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping.


Prepare as directed, substituting a 2-L casserole dish for the 2 baking dishes, and increasing the baking time to 35 to 40 min. or until apples are tender.

How to Use the Remaining Jelly Powder

Add 1/2 cup boiling water to remaining jelly powder in small bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add 1/2 cup cold water; stir. Refrigerate until firm, then enjoy as a quick dessert or snack.
